ABSTRACT:A study was conducted on thefertility status diferencs diferent subgroupdark brown soil priles to provideatheoretical basis forrationaldevelopment,utilization,agricultural management.Basedonthe third national soil survey inDongliao County,Jilin Province,this study investigated representative subgroupdark brown soil in Dongliao County,collected prilesoil samplesaccording totheoccurrencelayer, studiedthefertilitycharacteristics differentsubclassesdarkbrownsoil prilesthereasonsfortheirdiferences.Theresultsshowedthatthefertility white slurieddark brownsoil was the highest,followed bytypical dark brownsoil,thenutrient status weakly developeddark brown soil was poor.Duetothe influence soilformation conditions human factors,the soil organic mater,alkaline hydrolyzable nitrogen,available phosphorus, available potassium in diferent subgroup dark brown soil priles showeda graduallydecreasing trend from the surface downwards,while trace elements such as available sulfur available zinc graduall increaed from the surfacedownwards.The study indicated thatin the utilization differentsubgroupdark brown soil,it was necessarytopayatention tobalancedfertilizationaccording tocrop neds,especially the supplementation medium trace elements.In the utilization weakly developed dark brown soil,it was necessary to strengthen organic fertilization prevent soil erosion.
