Abstract In response to the problems existing in the development of the economic forest industry in Guyuan Municipality，theon-sitevisitsand investigationsinvariouscounties（districts）ofGuyuan Municipalitywere conducted，the current situation and problemsof the development of the economic forest industry in Guyuan Municipalityare systematically analyzed，and countermeasures andsuggestions forthe developmentof the economic forest industry in Guyuan Municipalityareput forward，with theaimof providingascientific basis for thequality improvement，efciency increaseandsustainabledevelopmentof the economic forestindustry in Guyuan Municipality.
