Abstract In order to build a smart water conservancy system and enhance the water information monitoring and intelligentdispatchingcapabilitiesofthebasin,throughtheresearchanddevelopment,constructionandapplicationof the digital twin platform system for the Shule River Basin,a "2+3" application scenario covering major water conservancy businesses such assmart flood control,smart allcation of water resources management and intelligent engineering control,smart irrigation districtsand water conservancypublicservices has been formed.Theaim is to address issues such as the independent operationofsystemmodules,decentralizedmanagementofdata resources,low accuracyofwater forecast inthe basin,and weak predictability.Atthesame time,theoperationresults ofthedigital twin in the Shule River Basinare analyzed,and measuresand suggestions foroptimizing the modeland improvingthe system platform areproposed,aiming toprovidebasicdatasupportfortheimplementationofthedigitaltwiniigation area in the Shule River and accumulates valuable pioneering and experimental experience for the construction of digital twins in the water conservancy industry.
