Intergroup Prejudice Within Folk Wushu Learning Communities in China ： Based on the Practical Investigation of Bamenquan in Lanzhou City

Abstract：The intergroup prejudice within folk Wushu learning communities afects the inheritance and development of folk Wushu andrestrains thesoundsocial interaction.Byusing the methodsof literaturereviewand field investigation，this paper explores the manifestationcharacteristics and root causes of the intergroup prejudice within folk Wushu learning communities from the perspective of socialpsychology.Itsuggests thatone-sidedness，“infection”and negativeare the performancecharacteristicsof intergroup prejudice withinfolk Wushu learning communitiesand stereotypes，selfuncertaintyand group consciousness are theroots.Basedon this，govermance strategies are proposed to promote intergroup contacts so as to improve the negative stereotypes of thein-groups towards theout-groups;to enhancethe self-esteem level of n-group members soas to reducethe sense of self-uncertainty;and to weaken the traditional group concept so as to construct a Common In-Group Identity Model.The aim is to eliminate the intergroup prejudice within folk Wushu learning communities，improve the intergroup relations and promote the healthy development of folk Wushu.
