Abstract:The effect ofcold roling reduction on the microstructure and properties oflow-carbon steel semi-rigid coils was studied.The research results indicate thatas the total reductionrateand secondarycold rolling reduction rate decrease,thedeformationstructure inthesteel graduallydecreases,the strengthdecreases,andtheelongation increases. Compared to the total reductionrate,the influenceof secondarycoldroling reductionrate is more significant.When the secondary cold rolling reduction rate is 10% ,asemi hard coil product with excellent strength and plasticity can be obtained.
