Abstract：With thecontinuous developmentof digital technology，digital transformation hasbecomeaninevitable choiceforsteel companies to break through development bottlenecks and enhance core competitiveness.Basedon the operating practices of key enterprises such as Masteel， this paper adopts SWOT analysis method to discuss the advantagesand disadvantages，opportunities and threats in thedigital transformation processof the steel industryin Anhui Province，and proposes targeted strategies such as strengthening the collaborative operation of the supply chain， improvingthe data management system，improving product diferentiationand strengthening the training of digital talents，in order to provide reference for the transformation and development of the industry.
