Research on Lightweight Assembly Cargo Box

Abstract:To developa van-type cargo body that is both balances economy and safety,aluminum alloy is used to replaceseelandaprefabricated structureis designed.Byestablishinggeometricandfiniteelement models,strength analysesundervertical impact,steering,torsion,braking,and other working conditionsareconducted basedonactual operatingconditions.Rigidityanalysesof thefrontwall,sidewals,andrearwallarealsoperformed,as well as analysesoftrampling,loadingandunloading,andsnow load.Theresultsshow thatalthoughthestrength analysis is satisfactory,thetorsionisclosetothematerialyieldstrengthandneedstobeappropriatelystrengthened.Therigidity analysis indicatesthat,exceptforthefrontwall,theresidualdeformationofotherpartsissmall,alowingforweight reduction and optimization.In trampling,loading and unloading,and snow load analyses,the cargo bodyperforms well.
