Abstract:Inorderto reducebrakecaliper drag and lower power consumption of electric vehicles,VSAis used to calculatethebrake discintrusion,determine brake caliper pistonreturn,andoptimize parameters of the seal groove.At the same time,the paper proposes touse Teflon treatment technologyon the matching surfaceof the spring and friction platelug,combined with theactive returndesign of thespring plate.Through thecalculation of thevehicle braking system,it is verified thattherequired brakefluid volume meets theregulatoryrequirements.Testresults show thatthe active return front caliper seal chamfer is 1.2×37∘ ,and the rear caliper seal chamfer is 1.0×45∘ .With the Teflon process andthe active retam design ofthe spring plate,the bench test data shows thatthe front caliper drag torque is reduced by 84% and the rear caliper drag torque is reduced by 8O%,which effectively verifies the correctness of theoretical analysis.In addition,because of the reduction of drag torque the electricity consumption per 100km by (20 0.277kW⋅h ,and cost pervehicle is reducedby 416.66 RMB.
