Abstract：The effect of prepreg treatment on the pulp performance of wood chips was analyzed in this paper.The concept of prepreg treatment，commonly used agents and key processparameters were summarized. Then the mechanism of prepreg treatment on fiber properties，chemical composition and pulp quality was discussd.It was found that prepreg treatment could significantly improve fiber separation，optimize fiber morphology，adjust ligninand hemicellulose properties，and improve paper strength，whitenessand evenness.It aims to provide a strong theoretical basis for the optimization of pulping process and help the eficient and green development of paper industry.
