Abstract：The moisture content isan importantcharacteristicparameterof wood.Aiming atthemoisture contentof wood，this paper introduces theaverage moisture content and layered moisture content of wood.Focusing on the measurement of water content，the main determination methods of average water content and layered water content are summarized.On this basis，the influence of wood moisture content on its mechanical properties is analyzed，and specific suggestions for further research in the future are put forward.
