Research on the Intelligent Development and Services of Toy Libraries： A Case Study of the Children’s Educational Toy Library at Binjiang Public Library in Hangzhou

Abstract Toys playavital role in achild’s growth.Toy activity spaces in public libraries serve as important means to safeguardchildren'sright toplaysupportfamilyeducation，andcultivateanearlyemotionalconnectionbtweenchildren andlibraries.This paper takes the“Children’sEducationalToyLibrary”atBinjiang PublicLibrary—China’s pionering institution inexploring fullintellgenttoylibraryservices—asitsresearchsubject.Itanalyzes thelibrary’sdevelopment andservicepractices intermsof targetusers，access mehods，spatiallayout，serviceontent，colectionclassication，and management.The paper further summarizes itsdistinctive features inservice processs，facility planning，toycolections， themed activities，and new media promotion， to inform the intelligent development of toy libraries in China.
