Abstract：Duonengbishiisasignificant exampleof the“encyclopedias ofdailyuse”，encompasingabroadarrayofsubjects suchasfoodclothinghouseholdmaagement，andmedicie.Itconstutesavaluablesourceforunderstandingsociallifeand material cultureinthelateYuanandearlyMingperiods.Yetquestionsconceringitsauthorship，extanteditions，anddateof compilationremainunresolvedandhavelongbeenmatersofscholarlydebate.Drawinguponextanthigh-qualityeditions anda systematicreviewofprevioussearch，tisrticleoersrenewedoiionsofteor'sompiler，itsprobabletieofoletion and the textual origins of its contents.
