[Abstract]Theapplicationofartificialintellgence(AI)ineducation(especiallydentaleducation)hassignificantlyfacilitatedthetransformationofdentaleducationandpromotedtheshiftfrom traditionaldentalteachingto“digitalinteligence”teaching.Different from traditional teachingmodels,AI-assisteddental teaching brings manyopportunities for dentaleducatorsbutnewandhighdemandsregarding teachers’rolepositioning.IntheeraofAI,theroleofdentaleducators is nolongerthatofasimple knowledge transmiter,asinthetraditionalmodels,butmustbetransformed tonewroles positioned toadapt to the future intellgentdevelopment ofdental education.This studyreviews therolereconstructionof dentaleducators undertheAI-asisted dentalteachingmodeland providesatheoreticalreference for promotingtherapid development of dental education,overallteaching quality,and breakthroughand innovationof teaching methods.
