[Abstract]ObjectiveThis study aimed to investigate thecurrent status and influencing factorsof stigmaamong mothers of children with cleft ip and palate（CLP），providing new perspectivesand intervention evidence for psychological support for CLPfamilies.MethodsAtotalof127 mothersserving as primarycaregivers forchildren with CLP were selectedas the study subjects.Surveys were conductedusing the social impact scale，social supportrating scale，psychologicalresilience scale，caregiver burden scale，andaself-designed demographic questionnaire.Scores fromeach scale were statisticallyanalyzed，andcorrelationanalysis asperformed.ResultsTheextentofstigmaamongmothersofchildren with CLP showed significant relationships with monthly household income and the child's age （ -3 years vs. 7-12 years; P<0.05 ）.This stigma was significantly associated with social support （P<0.05） ，but the correlation was not li-near. It wasnegativelycorrelatedwithpsychological resi-lience β= -0.241 P=0.002 ） and positively correlated with caregiverburden （ β=0.428 ， P<0.001 ）.Chain mediating effect analysisrevealed thatcaregiverburden-psychological resilience-social support partially mediated the stigma experienced by these mothers （P<0.05） .Conclusion Stigma is prevalent among mothers of children with CLP.The factors influencingthisstigmaincludethechild’sage，economicstatus，psychologicalresilience，caregiverburden，andsocial support.Healthcare profesionals should implement targeted interventions to reduce maternal stigmaand improve the long-term quality of life for these child-centered families.
