[Abstract]Discomfort symptoms，such as pain，during the progresionand treatment oforal diseases often lead to fear in patients，which delays treatmentand is notconducive tooraland systemic health.Cariologyand endodontics isacommondisease thathasobvious pain-relatedcharacteristics，anditstreatment playsanimportantroleinoralclinicalpractice. Oralcomfort therapy improves patients’treatment experience byreducing pain andfearand presents a personalized plan when dealing withsuchdisease.The program includes sedation，anesthesia，minmally invasive treatment，computer-assistedtechnique，etc.This review focusesontheapplications oforalcomforttherapyincariologyandendodonticsand discusses how treatments openupa new path fordiagnosis and clinicalmanagement. With the improvement of patients’expectatios for medical experience andthe progressof science and technology，thecomfortable treatmentof cariologyand endodontics will have a broad development prospect.
