[Abstract]Dentalpulp stemcells (DPSCs)have potential forself-renewalanddierentiation into various celltypes. Theycan be transplanted into the defect areaof the alveolarbone to induce their differentiation intoosteoblasts,thereby promoting the regeneration and reconstructionof thealveolar bone.This study reviews the osteogenic abilityofDPSCs in alveolarboneregenerationandthefactorsthatinfluencetheirosteogenicability.Thechallengesfacedintheclinicalapplication of DPSCs are analyzed to provide insights into the basic research and clinical application of DPSCs for repairing the alveolar bone.
