[Abstract]Vascular anastomosis is widelyused inoraland maxillofacial surgery,plasticandreconstructive surgery,nd cardiovascular surgery.Conventional vascularanastomosis is challenging and time-consuming,hence demanding forsurgeons.In recent years,newvascular suture anastomosis techniques,endoscopic anastomosis,and microvascular anastomosis have providedadditionalchoices forclinicalpractice,improvedtheeficiencyoftheoperation,andreducedtherisk of the operation.These methods have demonstrated uniqueadvantages in microvascular anastomosis,organ reconstruction,andultra-microsurgery.Theseadvancesnotonlyprovideincreasedconvenienceforsurgeonsbutalsomeetthe needs ofdifrent typesofpatients forenhanced therapeuticoutcomes.Inthisreview,therecentadvances inthe techniquesof vascularanastomosis aresummarized fromthree aspects:manual suture techniques,vascularanastomosis asistivedevicesanddigitaltechnologyandanastomosisbasedonbiomaterials.Thisreviewaimstohelpsurgeonsunderstandthedevelopmenttrends ofvascular anastomosis technology and provide references for the selection ofsurgical procedures.
