AbstractTaking cuttings from root suckers of threepoplar species，including Populus candicans，P. alba var. pyramidalis，Populus alba and cutings from grafted seedlings of Populus alba as materials，the effects of diferent mass fractions of rooting agents and their combinations on the cuting survival rate of Populus alba were studied. The results showed that cuttings of diferent poplar varieties and Populus alba cutings from different sources responded differently to treatments with rooting agents of different massfractions and their combinations.Treatments with rooting agents of different mass fractions and their combinations significantly increased the survival rate of Populus alba root sucker cutings.Specifically，the treatment with 150-fold dilution of Runde Genwobao achieved the best survival rate for Populus alba root suckercuttings，which was basically consistent with the cutting survival rate of P . alba var. pyramidalis under the same treatment conditions，reaching 57.78% ：
