AbstractIn order to develop double-sided polylactic acid(PLA)-based radiative cooling nonwoven materials,PLA fibers containing silicon dioxide( SiO2 )and titanium dioxide( TiO2 )were prepared by wet spinning and electrospinning, respectively.A double-layer composite membrane consisting of wet spun PLA based fibers (front side) and electrospun PLA based fibers (back side)was constructed, and its morphology, chemical structure,hydrophilicity-hydrophobicity,and radiative cooling performance were studied. The results show that wet spun PLA based fibers exhibit a porous structure, while electrospun PLA 'SiO2/TiO2 fibers have significantly finer diameters than other fibers. The water contact angle on both sides of the composite membrane constructed from two types of fibers increases, while the self-cleaning ability of the composite membrane surface is improved.Through radiative cooling effect testing,it is found that the front side of the composite film has good infrared emission ability, while the back side has strong solar reflection ability. Compared with traditional leather samples, the outdoor cooling of the composite membrane is close to 10°C ,and the indoor cooling is close to 7∘C ·
