Abstract:Inthe existing research on preventive maintenance strategies for multi-state components,there is alack of researchonthecombined effectsof twofactors ontheentire lifecycle,whicharedifferent monitoring intervalsunder diferentstatesandtherange of preventive maintenance states.Inregard tothis,theunidirectional degradationprocess of component performanceand the transition lawof states throughout the entire lifecycle are analyzed.Taking reliabilityand totalcostas theobjectivefunctions,andconsideringtheimpactoftheinabilitytomonitorthestatus inrealtime,asolution model is proposedto calculatea maintenance strategy,which ison-condition maintenance.Byusing this model to ssist decision-making,optimized preventive maintenance strategies can be obtained,and the corrsponding range of preventive maintenancestatesand diferentmonitoring intervals undereach statecanbedetermined.Forspecific examples,the solution resultsare providedandcompared with the resultsof Monte-Carlo simulation,verifying the corrctnessof the proposed method and solution model.
