Wideband white noise irradiation effect on UAV and its protection

Abstract:To evaluate the working state of the unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)in thecomplex electromagnetic environmentof thebatlefield,a UAVfield-lineco-simulation model is established,anda wideband whitenoise iradiation experiment iscarriedout.Thecoupling voltageofthe typicalinterconnectioncablesoftheUAVisobtainedbysimulation, andtheloss-of-lock threshold of the UAV with different interference frequency offsetsand bandwidth suppressionratios under four iradiation scenarios isobtained by experiment.The variation lawofthe lossof-lock threshold ofthe UAV is analyzed,andthe coupling path of the wideband whitenoise to the UAVisrevealed.The electromagnetic protection reinforcementmeasuresareproposedanditsefectiveness isverified.Theresultsshowthat theeffectof wideband white noise is related to interference frequencyoffset,bandwidth suppresionratio,incident angle and polarization direction.When the bandwidth suppressionratiois greaterthan O.6,the front doorcoupling efect isobvious.Whenthebandwidth suppression ratio is educed to lessthan 0.6,theback door coupling plays a major role.The polarization direction and incident angle are the main factors affecting the backdoor coupling.
