Segmented mismatched filtering method for anti interrupted sampling repeater jamming

Abstract:Interupted sampling repeater jamming generates multiple false targets after matchedfiltering,which affects radar detection performance.To adressthis issue,a method ofusing segmented mismatched filtering to resist interrupted sampling repeater jamming is proposed.This method fullyutilizes the intermitencyof interruptedsampling repeater jamming andthe lag of jamming delayin the sampled radar signal segment,and filters outthe jamming accompanying the signal through segmented pulse compression.However,when using segmented pulsecompresion techniques,it is necessary to firstobtainthe positionof the targetsignal in theecho through matched filtering,which cannot distinguish between real targetsignalsandfalse target jamming.Therefore,aphase encoding segmented mismatchedfltering method is proposed to obtainthepositionofthetargetsignalintheecho.Thecomprehensivemismatchedfilteringofthesignaliscompletedthrough multi segment signal grouping coding mismatched filtering,achieving the cancelationof the true target pulsepresure peak,while the jamming signalcannot complete thecancelationof the pulse pressure peak due toits incompleteness. Therefore,basedonthepeak detectionofthetwo,thetrue targetsignalandthejamming signalintheechosignalcan be distinguished,and then segmented mismatched filteringof the true target signal can filterout the jamming signal acompanying it.The simulationresults showthat theproposed algorithmcanfilterout interupted sampling repeaterjamming caried in multiplereal target echoes under the condition that the signal segmentation width is smalerthan the jamming sampling width.
