Abstract： Inesponsetotheshortcomingsofexistingonionharvesters，4C-1onionhrvesterwasdesignedItsstructuremain technical parametersand working principle weresummarized.Onthisbasis，fieldtest，data colectionandanalysisoftestresults werecarried out，whichconfirmed that theharvesting rateof 4CS-1 onion harvester ≥98% ，the onion leakage rate ⩽1.42% ，the onion injury rate ⩽1.66% ，andallthe indexes meetthe design requirements.Theapplication ofthis technologyand equipment can significantly improve the efficiency ofonion harvesting.
