Research on the Women's Weightlifting Competition at the 15th National Games

Abstract： Using methods such as iteraturereview，observation，andmathematical statistics，astudy was conductedon the women's weightifting competitionat the15thNational Games.Thefollowingconclusions were drawn：（1）The Sichuanweightlifting teamwontwogoldmedals，tyingwithHunanandFujian for thenational topspotingoldmedal count.ChampionathletesFang LinandYang Qiuxia have both potentialand uncertaintyin their prospects forthe 2028 Olympic Games.（2）Compared to the Tokyoand Paris Olympics，as wellas World Championships and world records， the performanceofwomen'sweightliftingchampionsattheNational Gamesremainsatanadvancedgloballevel，though certainweight classesstillshowgaps.（3）Mostathletes demonstrated stableperformance，withagroupof promising young talents emerging.（4） The success rate of participating athletes was 51.3% ．Based on these findings，recommendations were proposedforthefuturedevelopmentofwomen's weightlifting in ChinaandSichuan：（1）furtherimprovethesuccessrate inweightliftingcompetitions.（2）enhancescientifictrainingandelevatethe levelof scientific training.（3）conduct in-depthresearchonthenewweightclassesimplementedbytheInternationalWeightliftingFederationinAugust2026and thesix weightcategoriesforwomen'sweightlftingatthe2O28Olympicstofinalizepreparationstrategiesassoonasposible. Finaly，furtherimprove thescientifictraining standardsandoverallstrengthofweightliftinginSichuanandChina.
