Abstract：ArchibaldVivianHil'sresearchonskeletalmuscleenergymetabolismisreviewed，analyzedandsmmarized fromthedisciplinaryknowledgesystem，anditisbelieved thatitis inlinewiththebasic knowledge systemofmodern exercisephysiologyandisthelogicalstartingpointofexercisephysiology，whichnotonlylays theresearchfoundation ofexercisephysiologybutalsopromotesthedevelopmentofexercisephysiology.Italsoprovides impetusforthestudy ofexercise physiologyThis paper systematicallyreviews the sientific thinkingand methodsofHillsearlyresearchon energymetabolism，which isof great valueand significance for thesystematic studyof exercisephysiology in sports training or sports fitness.
