Abstract:At present,construction enterprises areadvancing their digitalization through various initiatives,yet the implementation outcomes have not met expectations due to insufficient readiness.An in-depthanalysis of thedigital readinessof construction enterprises is crucial for optimizing the allcationof resources within construction enterprises andfacilitating theirdigital transformation.Adequate digitalreadinesscanoptimizeresource allcationand improve the success rateoftransformation.Toanalyzethe influencing factors ofdigital readiness in Chineseconstruction enterprises and themechanism of digital dynamic capability,propose a theoretical framework and five hypotheses based on the SOR theory. The partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM)was employed to examine the pathways through which various factors influence digital readinessThe findings indicate thatorganizationalchange directly enhances digital readiness,while both organizational changeand environmentaldynamism indirectlyafect digitalreadiness through digital dynamiccapability.This research would expand the theoretical framework ofdigital readiness and provide practical guidance for construction enterprises to improve the efectiveness of digital transformation.
