Preventionand Control ofBrucellosisinLianshan Black Goats

Abstract：Black goats are a traditional livestock and poultry breed in Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County，Qingyuan City，mainlyraised through traditional grazing and free range.Theyface high riskof disease spread and weak biosafety management in the preventionandcontrol of brucelosis.Thisstudyaims tounderstand the difficulties inpreventingand controllng brucelosis in black goats inLianshan Countythrough field investigations， and exploreand develop scientific preventionand control strategies.Theresults showed thatthe proportionof free range households of Heishan sheep in Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County was 96% .Theclimate characteristics of“cold winters and humid summers”in the local area，overlapping grazing routes，and traditional manure treatment methods under feeding patterns have increased the potential risk of brucelosis infection and transmission.Therefore，inthe process of raising black goats，Lianshan Zhuang and Yao Autonomous County should adheretoself breeding andself raising，maintainahygienicfeeding environment，controlthe temperatureof the sheep house and other prevention and control measures to ensure the healthy breeding of black goats.
