Abstract:Streptococcus suis,S.suis isa significant zoonotic pathogen exhibiting distinct spatiotemporal distribution patterns incros-species transmission.Thisreviewsystematically examines how climateand geographical factors influence the transmission dynamics of S. suis.Through comprehensive analysis of global literature from 2O0O to 2024,we demonstrate that:climate elementsregulate both the seasonality and intensityof transmision risk by affectingpathogensurvival intheenvironment, host immune status, and vectoractivity;geographicalisolationshapes the genetic diversity and population structure of S⋅ .suis in different regions, forming genotype distribution patterns with distinctregional characteristics;SoutheastAsia isa global transmision“hotspot”,where thecombinationof high temperatureand humidityclimate with foodborne transmission significantlyincreases human infectionrisk;serotype 2 S.suis shows obvious advantages incross-species transmisson with strong“serotype filtering” effects.Based on the climate-geography-pathogen ternary interactionmechanism,multi-factorrisk assssmentmodelsand differentiated prevention strategies areproposed to provide theoretical basis for constructing scientificearly warning systems and formulatingprecise control measures.
