Research on Electromagnetic Protection Method for Automotive Electrical System

Abstract:Conventionalautomotiveelectromagneticprotectionreliesheavilyonbulkymetalenclosuresorshieldedcabins.While effectiveimetingbasicoperaionalrequirements,teseappoachessuferfromsigificantspaceieffciencyandhighmanufacturing costs.Addressingthseliitations,tispaperproposesadvalidatesacomprehensiveelectromagneticprotectionmethodtargetingthe automotiveelectricalsystem.This methodfocusesonthetreecorephysicalpathwaysforelectromagneticinterference(EM)conduction:wiringhaeses,ontrolerodulesdgoundingpoits.Iticorporatesassdingtreamentontroleroduleprot tiontreatment,andimpedancecontrolofelectricalsystemgroundingpointstosystematicallnhanceelectromagneticompatibility (EMC)andresistanetoelectromagneticdamage.Experimentalresultsdemonstratethatthisapproachensuresprotectioneffcacywhile significantlyeducingspatialfootprintandimplementatiocosts,feriganctiesoutionforthelectromageticprotctiodsig ofautomotive electrical systems,particularly for special-purpose vehicles and new energy vehicles.
