Abstract:The gas difusionlayer(GDL)ofaproton exchangemembranefuelcels (PEMFC)primarilyconsistsofacarbonpaperaeranda microporouslayer(PL),whichdirectlyifluenestemasstransfereficiencyandperformancestabilityofthefuelcellTispee viewedthealatisfovelGDcudngulra-thinibledtegedtsnditrodedeacrogsa ingthewatermanagementcapabilityconductivityndmechanicalpropertisofthecarbonpaperlayerandMPLthroughtechologyimprovementsandmaterialoptizationBasedontheaplicationrequirementsofGDL,tepapersummariedtechnicalstrategiesforipro ingwatervaportransportpeformancebyoptimizingorestructuredjustingcompoentratios,ndsigningcontactintefaces,sellas enhancingcorosionesistaneanddurabilityofGDtroughdiffrentcoatingtechologies.Finall,tefutureevelomentdictiosof GDL were outlined.
