Analysis of Chemical Components of Four Characteristic Wild BastFiber Plants in Yunnan Province

Abtract:hissudtoofouraracerstilastferplantsinYanprovceasteseahectsdteaticallalydn chemicalomposiidlolicopetofulsodathetgsf lignin in the four plants were 25.57 % to 43.75 % , 5.36% to 16.82 % ,and 12.15% to 31. 71 % ,respectively. The degree of polymerization (DP) f teisolatedcelloseragdfro88to1415,dtemolearweigtofmiceloeangdf43.62to.73D,ihgucoeo xyloseservingastepriarysugarunitsThesringguaiacyl(S/G)ratioofacid-isolublelignrangedfroO.t.54.Amongthfouast fiber plants,Ensete glaucum exhibited the lowest lignin content (12.19 % ) coupled with the highest holocellulose content (55.94 % ) and cellulose content (43.74 % ),making it themostsuitablecandidateforthepapermaking industryBroussontiapapyriferarankedsecondinapplicability Si 1 da szechuensis Matsuda exhibited the highest lignin content (31.74 % ) and had a greater advantage in the lignocellulose-based biomass refining industry,while Pouzolzia sanguinea exhibited the lowest holocellulose content (32. 41% ) and cellulose content (merely 5.38 % )among the studied plants.Additionally,itshowedrelativelyhighashcontent (12.96% )and extractivescontent (20.52% ),indicating limitedapplicationpotential in both the papermaking industry and the hemicellulose-based biomass conversion sector.
