Abstract：Chinesemedicineprescriptionisoneoftheimportant meansoftreatingdiseasesintraditionalChinese medicineand thecompositionofteprescription，theaplicationofconcotions，andthechageofdosageareimportantfactorsaectingtecacy of theprescription.TraceabilitystudiesofChineseherbalformulasprovideabasisforclinicaltreatmentandresearchonewtherapeu ticefects.Relevantancientboksandpapers inmodemChinesemedicinejournalswerereviewed toexaminetheevidenceforLizhong Pill（Decoction）ItwasconcludedthatLizhong Pill（Decoction）wasfirstlytakenfromtheTreatiseon TyphoidFever，andLizhong Pill（Decoction）isacommonlyusedprescriptioninChinesemedicinefortheciicaltreatmentofdeficiencycoldinthespleennd stomach，nditsesitiisoposdofeng，tacldesmacoepalarieingendlicoce，chisightlyt fromeachotherineachothersprescriptionbooks.Thedosageisbasicallythre taelseach，withsomeformulae having twotaelsach orotherdosages.MostoftheChinesemedicinesintheformulawereconcoctedtoenhancetheireficacy.ThevariousaspectsofLizhong Pill （Decoction） have been examined to provide a basis for modern and future clinical practice.
