Abstract: As acore production area of Pu'er tea in China,the soil nutrient status ofthe tea gardens in Jiangcheng County, Yunnan Province,directlyafects thequalityof tea and the sustainable developmentof thetea industry.Inresponse to the soil degradationcausedby long-termextensive management,this studysystematically evaluatedthesoil nutrient characteristics and fertity qualityofsix major tea-producing towns in Jiangcheng County.Based on90 soil samples and1l indicators,the spatial diferentiation lawofsoil fertilityandthe keylimitingfactors were revealed.Theresults showthat theteagardens inJiangcheng Countywere generallstronglyacidic toslightlyacidic,withsignificantregional variations.Areas suchasJiahe Township were atrisk ofacidification.The soilorganic matercontent was rich,the total nitrogencontent was moderately high,theavailablephosphorus Was generalyscarceand hadalarge spatial variation. The available potassium had significant regional variations,calcium and magnesium were generallydeficient,iron and manganese were highlyenriched,andtheavailablecopperand zinc were severely insufficient.Itis suggestedtoadopt an integrated management strategy of "acidification control- precise fertilization- micro-fertilizersupplementation", which includes improvingacidified soil through organic fertilizer,optimizing theratioof phosphorus and potasium in different regions,supplementing calcium,magnesium,phosphate fertilizers and copper,zinc foliar fertilizers,and promoting the intercropping of green manure to stabilize organic matter.This study provideda scientific basis for the targeted improvement and sustainable management oftea garden soils in Jiangcheng County and had an important reference value for improving the qualityand efciency of tea gardens in Yunnan and similar ecological areas.
