Abstract: To shorten the development and testing cycle of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing system based on the NI-CompactRIO system and PXI bus platform was developed. This system was used for systematic testing and validation of the Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) function inan integrated brake-by-wire hydraulic braking system.The testing platform employs realtime simulation technology to construct simulation test scenarios and develop automated test management software.Based on the simulation results, braking strategies were optimized,achieving HIL semi-physical simulation testing for the brake-by-wire system.The data indicates that the simulation testscan reflect the actual braking conditions of the vehicle, providing effective references for optimizing braking strategies. After optimization, the strategy successfully avoided collisions at high speeds of 80km/h ,with the minimum postbraking distance being approximately 1 meter. The HIL testing platform significantly enhances the visibility and practicality of AEB system testing,offering a reliable solution for subsequent testing of other ADAS functionalities.
