Abstract:Tostudythedynamicresponsecombinedcontrolproblemofnuclearpowerturbinegeneratorfoundationstobothmachie-and earthquake-inducedvibratios,thisresearchderivedthemotionequatiofortheturbineotorbearingseatfoundationstructuresstemThe consistencbetweentheoreticalcalculationandnumericalsimulationasthenvifiedOnthebsisoftengineringontetofte foundationfortwooalspedturbiegeneratoritsinuclearpowerproectvbatioanalyssusingoe-dmesioaladt dimensionaliputseperfoed.Testeadstatesposeofthestructretoeotorubalanedfeasompaedbeteeeelastic andrigidfoundatioodels.Tepastceformatiodeveopmentoftelasticandrigidfoundatiomodelsereaalyeduderarthuake ground motionsaccountingfortheplastichingemodelingAcordinglyhesesmicsolationpeformaneoftheelasticfoundationwas exploredintesofthestorydrift,intealforeofompoentsandaelerationatunbalancedactionspotsTeresultssowthatuder machine-iducedatiocatioofgoatorseastsplacetsposatbaladctso,tut displacement response of the lower frame about 35%90% .Moreover,the use of spring isolators effectively decreases the development of structural plasticity and reduces the acceleration response at unbalanced action spots around 10%~40% under earthquakes.
