Abstract：Insomnia isacommondiseaseintheclinic，canincreasetheriskof avarietyofdiseases，many peoplearesuffering frominsomniaproblems.TraditionalChineseMedicinebelievesthatthebasicpathogenesisofinsomniaisyang-exuberancewithyindeficiency，disharmonybetweenyinandyang，althoughthediseaseisintehart，utitisloselyrelatedtoliver，kindeyandlung， thispaperanalyzsthepathogenesisofisomafromtheangleofheartandtheotherfourvisceacorelation，anddescribeseaplicationofacupunctureandmoxibustionforinsomniaonthisbasis，Itissugestedthatthetreatmentofinsomniabyacupunctureand moxibustionshouldstartfromthecorelationbetweefivevisceraanddistinguishtheprimaryandsecondaryinordertofutherimprove the clinical effect.
