后疫情时代中国外宣翻译策略研究

——基于“新冠”相关对外报道分析

摘 要:中国进入“后疫情时代”后,需通过外宣翻译在国际舆论战场占据有利位置,讲好“中国故事”。本文以《中国日报》公众号“新冠”相关对外双语报道为研究案例,总结出“以译文读者为导向”这一宏观翻译策略,探讨了在具体翻译层面如何实施该策略,并强调了该策略对于自塑国家形象的重要意义。

A Study of China’s International Publicity Translation Strategy

——An analysis of Covid-19 Related Foreign Reports

Abstract: Entering “the post-epidemic era”, in order to tell China’s stories well, China needs to occupy a favorable position in the international public opinion battlefield by the use of international publicity translation. With the bilingual “Covid-19” related foreign reports in the official account of China Daily as examples, this study summarizes the adopted macro translation strategy—“target readers oriented”, explores how to implement the strategy in translation practices, and stresses the importance of the strategy in self-shaping of the national image.
