Abstract: Laser cleaning is an eficient and environmentally friendly technology for cleaning surface coatings.By coupling the multiple physicalfields between the laser and the coating material,the coating rapidly decomposes and detaches from the surface toberemoved,achieving eficient removal of thecoating toberemoved.But because the coating to be removed causes random damage during manufacture or service,there is a problem ofsubstrate damage or uncleannes in cleaning with fixed laser parameters.Therefore,it is particularly important toachieve closed-loop optimizedadjustmentof laser cleaning parametersand intelligent controlof equipment byreal-time monitoringof surface topography,spatial shape and position characteristics,damage status,and cleaning processes and effects of coatings to be removed,and fedback these key information to the control system. At present,laser cleaning research is dominated by mechanisms,lacking inteligent target identificationand feedback control mechanisms, which make it dificult to accomplish the task of removing multi-layer heterogeneous coatings with non-uniform random damage.Scholars havecontinually fused cutting-edge theories such as machine vision and artificial intellgence with laser cleaning technology,driving it furthertowards more eficient and intelligent directions.This paper analyzes and summarizes the research progress of laser cleaning technology in recent years,such asoffline detection technology,online monitoring technology of removal process,and autonomous path planning technology of laser cleaning equipment.
