Analysis of the willingness of aquaculture majors to become new-type professional farmers

Abstract：The rural revitalization strategy has driven the modernization of China's agricultural and aquaculture industries， gradually increasing the demand for new agricultural talents. Surveys have shown that aquaculture major are increasingly willing to become new一 type professional farmers. However，due to factors such as personal career perception，professional competence，family attitudes，insuficient social recognition，and inadequate policy support，their employment intention to pursue this career remains low In the future，the government，society，and universities should collaborate to continuously improve the professional farmers by formulating more targeted support policies， breaking down occupational prejudices，and optimizing specialized training systems，thereby enhancing college students’willingness to become new-type professional farmers.
