Abstract:To achieve the coordinated development of Guangxi's marine economy and ecological environment,this study takes Guangxi as the research area and selects 2O evaluation indicators from four dimensions: socio一economics,science and technology,resource levels,and environmental ecology. The entropy weight method is employed to determine the weights of the indicators,and the state space evaluation model is applied to comprehensively assess the marine ecological carrying capacity of Guangxi from 2O11 to 2021. The findings indicate that Guangxis marine ecological carrying capacity was in an overloaded state in 2011,2014 and 2015,while it remained in a basically loaded state from 2012 to 2013 and from 2016 to 2021. Overall,the marine ecological carrying capacity of Guangxi exhibited a fluctuating upward trend during the period of 2011-2021
