Abstract:[Purposes]In order to solve the problem of large deformation of stainless steel jacket arc plate during pressure test in actual production,starting from the characteristics and forms offlexible arc plate and in accordance with the thickness calculation formula,the role of pull support in the structural design of jacketed arc plate is discussed.[Methods]Taking the jacket arc plate as the research object,the finite element analysis of the whole solid structure is established.The stress and deformation of different structures are obtained by finite element analysis,and the different results are compared.[Findings] Through finite element analysis,itis found that the thickness of the arc plate increases by 80 % and the deformationdecreasesby 23.5 % .However,under the action ofbraces,the deformationof the arc plate isreduced from 3 mm to 0.3 mm,which is reduced by 90 % .[Conclusions] The results show that the stay structure can effectively reduce the deformation of stainless steel thin plate in the special-shaped structure.In the future,the specific relationship between the structural form,arrangement mode,welding form and thedeformation of the thin plate shouldbe further studied inorder to beter solve the deformation problem.
