Correspondence：HuangDingming，Email：dingminghuang@l63.com [Abstract]Rootcanaltherapyisoneofthemost efective treatments forpulpandperiapicaldiseases，whichis capable of controllingpulpand periapical inflammation，promoting apical lesion healing，and preserving natural teeth.Artificial intelligence（AI）canprocessmedicalimagesandclinicaldataefficientlyandaccuratelypresentingsignificantpotential forpromoting the development of stomatology.This article briefly introduces the research progressofAI inrootcanal therapy，focusingonthefollowingaspects：pre-treatmentrootcanalmorphologyrecognition，casediicultyassssent， decision-making forrootcanalretreatment，intraoperative workinglengthdetermiation interpretationofrootcanal filing films，and postoperative prognosis prediction.This article provides acertain reference for future development.
