Insect Acoustic Signals and Their Application Progress in Pheromones

AbstractInsect acoustic signals areone of the ways in which insect species communicate with each other，and also an important means for insects to communicate with the surroundings.Pheromones are intra-species hormones with different functions secreted by various glands of insects，and are chemical substances used for information exchange between individuals of the same species and individuals of other species.Whether there is some relationship between insect acoustic signals and pheromones has been studied by scholars at home and abroad.This paper reviews the studies on insect acoustic signals and their combination with pheromones at home and abroad.
