Additive Biomass and Carbon Content Models of Standing Trees for Five Arbor Species in Heilongjiang Province

Abstract Five tree species in the province’s artificial forests,including Populus x xiaohei,Populus alba ×P berolinensis,Populusdavidiana,Pinus koraiensis,and Pinus syloestris var. mongholica were selected as research objects.Additive biomass models with single variable(DBH)and bivariate variables(DBHand tree height)were established respectively.The coeficient of determination R2 ) and root mean square error(RMSE) were used to evaluate thefiting qualityof the models,and the model results were verified.Acarbon-nitrogen analyzer was used to determine thecarbon content coeficient,and finally two systems of additive biomassandcarboncontent models were constructed.The results showed that the binary additive biomassand carbon content models for alltree species had better fiting effects than the univariate models.However,the univariate additive biomass and carboncontent models for Poϕulus×xiaohei,Poϕulusalba×P . berolinensis and Populus davidiana had higher prediction accuracy,while the binary additive biomassand carbon content models for Pinus koraiensis and Pinus syluestris var.mongholica had higher prediction accuracy.
