The Influence of Different Root-pruning Treatments on the Seedling-raising Effect ofKeteleeriafortunei

AbstractInordertoimprovethequalityofKeteleeriafortuneisedlingsandsolvetheproblemoflongmainrotandfewlateralroots ofKeteleeriforuneiseedings，theotprungsdigexperimetofKeteleriafortueisdingsasaedutThultssowed thatthegrowthofsedingsinthefirstyearofroot-pruningandnon-root-pruningtreatments wassignificantlydiferentTheaverage ground diameterand seedlingheightof root pruningin Februarywere 1.50mm and 13.84cm ，respectively.The growth of ground diameterwas 10.00% higher than that of non-root-pruning treatment，and the growth of seedling height was 17.22% lower than that of non-root-pruning treatment.InAugust，theaverageground diameterandseedlingheightofroot-pruning treatment were 1.37mm and 15.97cm ，respectively.Thegrowth of ground diameterincreased by 1.48% compared with that of non-root-pruning treatment，and the growth of seedling height decreased by 4.49% compared with that of non-root-pruning treatment. The height-diameter ratios of root pruninginFebruaryotpigigstdpitreamesre9716.57d3.5，spiely yearofrot-prunngadoroot-pruingtreatmentsereeesigicanterencsinteowthofedlineigtumbrfin roots，numberofprimarylateralotsandlengthofprimarylateralootsRootprningafectedtheearlygrowthofgroundiaeterand sedlingheightutitasonducivetotheculivationofstrongseedlings.Theeight-diameteratioofsedlingsshoweddowward trendTeetpgipgigstdpase89d 97.23，respetivelyeumberofaiotsfromlowtoighshowedorotpruningtreatment，oot-pruningtreatmentinFebary rot-pruningtreatmentinAugustandthenumberoffirst-levellateralrotsfromlowtohighshowedroot-pruningtreatmentin Februaryonrotprgtreamentotprnngtreamentiugustndtengthoffrst-evellateralotsfrolotigh showedro-pruingtreatmentinugustoot-pruningtreatmentoot-pruingreatmentinFebuaryRot-pruningtrants generally beneficial to the development and growth of roots.
