AbstractExploringthe“fertileisland”effectformedbyshrubsinthealpineregionofNorthwestSichuancanprovidescientific suprtandreferencefortheprotectionandrestorationofgrassandecosystemsinNorthwestSichuanSalixcupularis，Dasiphora fruticosa，Spirpinsegstatdedesreelectedaeahectsilatef the shrub and the 0.10cm layer outside the shrub was taken to determine its mechanical composition，bulk density，pH and physical andchemicalproperties.Andthesoilnutrientenrichmentrateindiferentshrubtypeswasanalyzed.Theresultsshowedthatthe enrichmentofsoilnutrientsunderdiferentshrubspecieswas diferent.Amongthem，therewasacertainenrichmenteffectonthe organicmtterofDasiphorafruticosaSbaeangustataandSpiraeaalpinasshrubutthre asnoeichmenteectonHohe rhamoidesandSalixcupularis.AmongthefiveshubtypesonlyDasiphorafruticosaandSibiraeaangustatashubsshowedeichent effectsonoiltalrogtotalpospouandtotalpotassm.Ieotrteeubseptfoteliupularishowed theenrichmentofsoiltotalpotassoichentwassho.SraegustataandSalixupularisadacertaineichtfect osoilalkaidroablerogagsatSapisdSipuillodetetolbe phosphorusandavailablepotassum.Ingeneral，SibiraeangustataandSalixcupularisshowedgoodenrichmentefectonsoil alkali-hydrolyblerognvlableosposdlableptasseregiatfertilesaectinieubofNorthwesteSichuan，buttheeichmentabilityariesfromspeciestopecies.Thecomprehensiveeichmentabilityofbaea angustataistherongestfollowedbyDsiphrafruticosandSalixcupularisselectivelynichsvailablenutrients.Te“fertiler island"effectofHippophaerhamnoidesand Spiraea alpinasisweak.
