AbstractInordertofullyexploretheexcelentstressresistanceofPopulussimonii,teDREBIDgeneofPopulussimoniiwasloned andsequenced,anditsgenesequenceandlinkagedisequlibriumcharacteristicswereanalyzed.TheresultssowedthattheEB geneof Populussimoni hadnointron,andthelengthof DREBIDgene was8Oo bp.Thegenecontainedacompleteopenreading frameand could encode a protein witha length of240amino acidresidues.The molecular weightof the protein was about , andthe isoelectricpoint was4.85.The homologyofDREBIDsequence betweenPopulussimoni andPopulus trichocarpa wasashigh as 90% .TheSNP frequencyinthegenewas0.04375,andthere were5commonsingle nucleotidepolymorphisms(SNPs),30rare SNPs,24misensemutationsand11nonsensemutations.ThelinkagedisequilibriumhasbeendegradedintheDREBIDgeneof Populus simoni.
