AbstractObjective：Tooservetheimprovementefetoffredragoncuppingcomprehesivemoxibustioasedonththeoryoffieelmet mutual-contaimetonotflashesrelatedtoedocrietherapyinprostatecancerpatientsMethos：Atotalof6prostatecancerpatients withhotflashesrelatedtoendocrinetherapyweredividedintotheteatmentgroupandthecontrolgoupacordingtotherandomnmber table，with 3Ocasesineachgroup.Thepatientsincontrolgroupreceivedroutindiseaseobservationandemotionalnursing，whilethe patientsinexperimentalgroupreceivediredagoncupingomprehensiemoxibustionbasedontheteoryofiveelementmutualotainet inaditiontothetreatmentofthecontrolgroup.Thefreqencyofotflashesandnightsweats，theseverityofotflashes，thesoresof traditional Chinese medicine syndromes，prostate-specificantigen（PSA），andtestosterone werecompared between thetwo groups. Results：After4weeksand8weeksoftreatment，thfrequencyofhotflashesandnightsweats intheexperimentalgroupwaslowerthan that in the control group （ P<0.05 ）.Moreover，the results of the repeated measures analysis of variance show that the inter-group effect，time effect，and interaction effect were all statistically significant（ ..<0.05 0.After 8 weeks of treatment，the severity of hot flashes andnightseatsandthesorsoftraditioalCineemedicinesdromes（otflashsandightsweatsfeverishnsatioitehst， back，andpalmsandsoles，sorenesandweaknessoftewaistandknees，estlessnessofthefivecenters，drymouthandthroatinte experimental group were lower than those in the control group （P<0.05 ）.There wasno significant differencein testosteroneand PSA levels between the two groups （ P>0.05 ）.Conclusions：Fire dragon cupping comprehensive moxibustion based on the theory of five-element mutual-containmentcould helptoimprovethe frequencyof hotflashes and related TCMsymptoms in prostatecancerpatients with hot flashes related to endocrine therapy.
