Efficiency Evaluation on Security and Prevention Systems of Bank Vaults Based on Target Loss Probability Model

Abstract：Toensure efectiveoperationofsecurityand preventionsystemsofbank vaults，improveoverallsecuritylevel， and optimizeresource alocation，soas toreduce securityriskssuch as theftand destruction，an eficiency evaluation method of securityand prevention systems of bank vaults basedon target loss probabilitymodel was proposed onthe basis of game theory.According to relevant standards in financeand security industry，as wellas expertexperience inrelated fields，an eficiencyevaluation index system forbank vault securityand prevention systems wasconstructed.The indexes werequantifiedand evaluated byusing four-branch single-valued neutrosophic sets，and target loss probabilitymodel was used to calculate eficiencyevaluationvaluesof securityand prevention systems of bank vaults.Taking abank vault as an example，scientificityand efectivenessof the proposedevaluation method was verified.Theresultsshow thatunder the conditionofoptimal defenseresources，increasingthedefenseresource investmentofthebank vaultsecurityandprevention system by only 11.728 8% ，the target loss probability can be reduced by 42.749 7%．The protection level of the bank vault security and prevention system is thus improved scientifically and efectively.
