Abstract： Shandong province is one of the primary garlic-producing regions， with its garlic cultivation area and yield holding significant importance both nationallyand globally.Traditional garlic cultivation practices， particularly the use of plastic film residue and excessive irigation with heavy fertilization，contribute to agricultural non-point source pollution.To balance garlic production with ecological conservation，this study evaluatedtheapplicabilityoffully biodegradable mulching films in garlic fields，selectedlocallysuitable， garlic -specific fully biodegradable mulching film products，and integrated aset of ecological control technologies for non-point source pollution.This study provided technical support for advancing the management of agricultural non-point source pollution.
